An uneventful trip to Colorado Springs. The plains are big
and flat with frequent wind farms and solar arrays.
We checked in to the Garden
of the Gods RV Park and after dinner we went for a walk along a great paved
trail that followed the river upstream. As it got dark, we saw deer on the
trail – they seemed quite unafraid of people and only scooted off when we got
really close.
