In the morning we dropped the RV off to have a check over by
the service agents at Camping World. While we waited, we took a look at the new
and second hand RV’s for sale. There are some pretty elaborate rigs available!
Leather couches, outdoor TV’s, 2 bathrooms, marble benchtops and the list goes
on and on. We drooled a little tiny bit over some of the more pricey ones.
The RV checked out ok – not issues other than some window
seals starting to crack. Next stop was the tire place for new tires. The rig
will be good as new when we are done.
While waiting at the tire place, Steve struck up a conversation
with a lady in the waiting room who is the Transportation Dispatcher for the TV
show “Better Call Saul”. She chatted
about the logistics of location scouting and getting people and equipment to
and from locations. She gave us a business card and offered to get us spots as
extras on the show. Sadly all the weekend shoots had extras organised already,
but she said the offer is there if we ever get back to Albuquerque.
